i have an emergency with my pacman frog
about a week and a half ago, i got my pacman frog [artemis] some new bedding and a new cave to have in her tank. she's about 1.5 to 2 inches and she really was a very spunky individual. i used regular coconut husk/sand and mixed it together for the substrate, i've always used coconut husk for her just never sand in it. i came into my room today to find her quite lathargic and sedentary [yes i know pacman frogs are usually like that, it was much more noticable] i picked her up to move her to a different spot as she had been in that same spot since i moved her cage around, she suddenly tensed up and shot all 4 limbs out rigid. i freaked out and gently put her back down in her cage, hoping it was just me accidently scaring her that caused her to do this strange act. a left for about 2 hours, came back to find her the same way. i was worried so i put her in the water [i warmed it up because she looked a little cold. after a few minutes [where she would normally start to move around] she was still sitting there not even moving a muscle, not breathing not moving her legs as she usually does. i'm getting really nervous because i was watching her shallow breathing when i noticed small [extremely small] little parasitic worms on her legs and lower back, at the same time i noticed that in those same areas she's very pale and almost see-through. she looks as if she has no energy to live, let alone try to eat anything. i've been putting her in nice new clean water every ten minutes to see if it may just be something i can get rid of and i'm going to take her into our pet store tomorrow where i purchased her. none are open at this hour, so if anyone has any suggestions or that this has happened to them please please please help!
